About Gracin Winery
Gracin Winery has been producing wines since 2005, nurturing a winemaking tradition deeply rooted in the rocky landscape of the Dalmatian coast. Our vineyards are made up of spectacular "vlačica", a hallmark of the Primošten region. This is a place where the sea, sun, soil, and wind create a unique terroir — perfect for cultivating the indigenous Babić variety.
The owner of the winery, Dr. Leo Gracin, a renowned oenologist and scientist, has poured his expertise and passion for wine into creating wines that genuinely reflect the character of this unique region. The wines are produced in collaboration with Birin Winery, with the help of his colleague and friend Nikola Birin, in Vodice.
Gracin Winery proudly produces three wines that embody the strength and character of this region:
Babić Gracin – a pure expression of the Primošten terroir, a full-bodied wine with deep aromas complemented by elegance.
Kontra – a joint project by Gracin and Kiridžija wineries, blending tradition and a modern approach to create an unrepeatable, truly unique wine.
Prošek – a traditional sweet wine made from dried grapes, embodying the richness of the sun and soil of the Primošten region.
In the heart of Primošten lies our wine tasting room, where visitors can experience the full essence of our work — glass by glass, accompanied by stories about the wines, the land, and the people who create them.
